More than the Imahot: Stories of Biblical Women (You May Not Have Read!)
We know and love Sarah, Rebecca, Leah, and Rachel as our ancestral foremothers. But beyond these imahot lies a rich world of biblical women’s stories to be explored. In this course, we will journey through Tanakh to discuss the women of the Hebrew Bible whose stories you may not know as well. Using both close reading of the biblical text and contemporary voices as our guides, we will see the ways these women’s stories offer continued insights for our own.
